I am one of the persons behind ArrivedOK Personal Arrival Tracker. I did Information Technology as my first degree, then Psychology (Novosibirsk State University), followed by MSc Social Psychology (London School of Economics and Political Science). I’ve been working in IT since 2000, after semi-academical activities in Media & Cultural Studies, PR, and Journalism. Being reasonably skeptical about the idea that Technology can make one’s life better, I nevertheless like what we did with ArrivedOK cause it makes it easier, at least. I have personally been working on ArrivedOK user scenarios, SRS related to UI, third party integration etc, in short, the visible part of the iceberg. Unlike those useless ‘web 2.0′ applications with ubiquitous google maps and nothing in the inside, ArrivedOK really makes difference. Probably because we created it for our families and friends at first hand. The idea came to Alexey when we were drinking saki in that Japanese place in Macau, far away from home…
